Bad Sprain

Well, I'm getting extra attention from Dog Dad.  I was broadsided and tumbled at Angel Paws by another dog while I was doing fence patrol.  I came up limping but seemed to be okay.  We went for our morning walk and I limped initially, but seemed to be okay.

After our walk, treats and daily heart worm pill;then I laid down to rest.   Dad looked at my leg and noticed that the top of the foot looked bigger. He felt it and there was swelling.  He petted me and said that I'll have to be taking it easy the next couple days, sigh.

    Awww poor Essex!! The Key West gang have been some bad luck lately, what with Sherman's wound, and now this. Take it easy Essex and get better soon!

    Aww, hope you are feeling better soon! We took Abby and Ryder to the dog park on Thanksgiving. They were having a fantastic time, running and playing with two young dogs. But then Ryder, not watching where he was going, knocked Abby down! She didn't end up with swollen paw though! I'm sure your dad is taking great care of you, so enjoy the extra TLC!
