30 December 2021

We have been chilling out with Dad this week.  He is on a staycation, so he is with us all day.  Which is pawsome.  There has been a lot of time visiting Angel Paws.  A man with a Japanese Spitz is visiting Key West, the first time they were in the park Gemini stopped by to say hello.  The man looked familiar and then he remembered that he was the one that had stopped his truck when Gemini escaped out of her collar and almost got hit on the road by Angel Paws way back in February of 2016.  Gemini remembered him and wanted to say thank you.

Copper is visiting us.  He won't come out of his kennel when Dad around.  Like the last time Copper visited, Dad puts him out in his crate while closing off the back patio.  Copper still thinks Dad is the God of Thunder from when he knocked over a bunch of cookie tins.  Neither of us can convince him that Dad is a pawtastic hooman.  Dad prefers not to watch Copper because of this, but Copper's humans couldn't find anyone else.

Merry Essexmas 2021

We hope everypaw is having a pawtastic Essexmas.  We are enjoying have Dad home with us and being lazy around the house.  The tree was set up with the Essexmas Ornament at the very top.

When Dad woke up this morning, he hugged us, wished us a Merry Essexmas and off for a walk we went.  During the walk Dad told us about Essexmas past, and of Essex, Deacon and Sherman.  We stopped Dad to sniff the grass at times.  We got an extra treat when we got home.

We'll post more later this week.

Samson And Orion Are Big Dogs

Last week we met two BIG DOGS. We have been meaning to write about these two Great Danes we met on 16 December. Their names are Samson and Orion.  They were already inside Angel Paws when we got there.  Neither of us were to sure of these towering dogs.

Both of us were intimidated by their size.  It took a little while before we felt comfortable around them.  Norm would walk quickly away.  Gem put her front paws on the bench, then on Dad's lap.  Dad just chuckled and told me everything was okay.

While we didn't play with the big dogs, we got used to them being around.
