Barkday Cake for da hoomansDeacon had a fun barkday. We had a long morning walk and Dad played extra long with us. The only bad part was the events at Angel Paws were delayed a day. It rained hard that afternoon. So when we got there it was only the Collies and PJ at the park. We decided to delay so more pupsters could be there.

Deacon at Angel Paws on his barkdayOn Monday there was PJ, Sasha, Reilly, Gunner, Jake, Leo, Lyra, Gino, Ollie, Mongo, Charlie and Blue at the park. We had a grand time, though Essex wanted more bicycles to chase. The Cheddar Collies were a big hit with us dogs, while the cake went over big with the hoomans. The dog treats and cake to include the frosting were all made from scratch. Every dog wished me a happy barkday.

We asked Dad to take a picture of us by our pineapple plant. Dad loves his Florida Keys grown pineapples. We rather have a dog biscuit though.

What a wonderful barkday you had Deacon! It looked like a lot of fun. I might just have liked the Cheddar collie cookies more than the cake! They looked yummy! I'm SURE Katie would have loved to come and play with you at the park. Glad so many pups could make your party!
those were good colors to choose - the green and yellow - they are aussie colors. So did Deacon get a little slice of the cake too? Mmmmm pineapple, home grown too, mom use to grow them back home as well. It is so much better to grow your own as you can pick them just when they are perfectly ripe

Wow, we've never seen a pineapple plant before!! Mama sometimes brings home one of these funny looking yellow things but we'd thought they grow in the supermarket.:) What an awesome second barkday you've had. we especially like the cheddar collies!!
