Essex taking it easy
Foxy, our Guardian Dog Angel
We have had company come several times during the week. Dad's friend Kay and her Grand Kids came over to visit and use the pool. It is nice to see people around. Both of us love Kay, especially Essex. Kay is the dog mom of our Guardian Dog Angel, Foxy. So when she comes over, Dad sees a Essex's tail wag. That always makes Dog Dad smile. We think Essex was remembering Foxy in the picture above.

The weather has been hot and humid. We don't feel like going out much during the day. We are once again watching the tropics. We hate this time of year, herricane season.
Our friend PJ is now in California with his hooman family. They don't have a house yet, but being with your pack is the most important thing.

Hope the weather gets cooler soon! Well it's hard to believe that it's halfway through August already.
Foxy looks like a very nice Collie, thanks for sharing.

Hi,
I had been away...trying to help these two. Mercury's been working hard on the Dog-COM project and some of her hard-work comprises studying about dogs - so we learned that you've got cousins called Border Collies, and that historically the Collies helped the humans herd their cattle - a task that required intelligence and agility:)
Intelligence + Agility = Smartness - So you are two Smart Collies:)

Hoping for no herricanes this season for you! Stay cool!
we are having the same kind of tropical weather here in nebraska !!!! It has been in the high 80's - 90's and sooooooo humid. Mom finds it hard to breathe in weather like this so we haven't been out much. Paws crossed that you don't get any hurricanes.....so far it has been very quiet on the front.
Yep -- It's starting!!!

Wooos! I hope those hurricanes stay away from you and me too. We do not need any especially when the power goes out for day and there is no a/c! Yuck!

Such fun to have visitors, esp dog-loving humans. Enjoy your lazy summer days.
We hope there won't be any herricanes for you this year - we still remember your last herricane season.
