Happy Pawther's Day

We hope that everyone has a pawsome Pawther's Day. We went out to the nursing home and visited Grand Paw. He really enjoys seeing us. We were there with Grand Paw and his two sisters, and three of their children.
Essex, Deacon & Grand Paw

It was an amazing time as we visited about ten other people. We would walk by a room and the people would motion Dog Dad to come in. Deacon would go right up to the people, get tons of pets and gave kisses to several of them. Essex made sure Dog Dad was between her and the strangers. During all of this Dad shook his head and said "Essex, you silly girl."

Here is a picture of Rosie the cat. She tolerates us and Deacon must have been sniffing her from about five inches a couple times.

Rosie, chilling out

Did you guys get to go on the mega long ride from Florida to Ohio? That would be way cool!

I'm sure Grandpaw appreciated the company of two gorgeous canines...oh yeah and dog dad too...

What a nice family day. And you made new friends too.

Our water came back on about 11 pm last night. Everyone in town has to boil water the first 24 hours but at least we have water again.

Dogmom says that Pawther's day makes her kinda sad since our grandpaw passed away. But it makes her smile when others can spend the day with their grandpaw like you did. Wuf ya! - Opie and Floyd the cat
