Essex resting after her vet visitEssex visited the vet Friday and is doing very well. Essex weighed 60 lbs (27 kg). Dad reported the usual torn paw pad for this time of year. So she will be getting paw care for the next couple weeks. Since Essex got her shots, she was a little grumpy and woozy, so no dog park Friday. She will also be coming back for teeth cleaning in March.

Kylie glances at EssexThe Collie next door, Kylie, has been sent back to live with her Grand-Mutter. She kept escaping from the yard. She was gone for three days on one occasion. We keep looking for her on the other side of the fence. We know Dad misses having her say hi too. However, it is more important that she is safe.
