Thanksgiving 2014

We hope everyone had a pawsome Thanksgiving.  I was happy to spend some extra time with Dad.  I had to laugh at him today.  He was making pumpkin muffins and had the batch in the oven.  As he is cleaning up, he notices a can on the counter.  He looks at it and realizes he didn't add the pumpkins puree to the mix.  BOL, all he did was say "Nuts" and shake his head.

Good news, Dad told me he is off tomorrow, so I am happy.  This year I am thankful for having Dog Dad to take care of and for Grrrreat Auntie Essex teaching me "The Way of the Collie."  While I miss her, I am hopeful that next year will bring a tri-color collie puppy into our home.  None are born as of yet, so we don't know when the pup will join us.

I am happy that there are more pups coming to Angel Paws.  The Snowbirds in there RVs are starting to come down, which means more pups at the park.  My good pals  Red and CC are back.  There are a couple of other pups that show up a couple times a week like Bella the Boxer.  There are others that come once a week or so.

Dog Speed,

Sherman

Happy Thanksgiving! Can't wait for new pup to arrive. Chaos usually follows but there is such joy that one doesn't mind.

Mom made her first ever pumpkin pie yesterday (which she won't eat because she says they tastes gross) but dad has all but eaten the whole thing already.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and Dog Dad!! The no-pumpkin, pumpkin muffins!! Funny!!Glad to hear there are more pals to play with now--are they Canadian Snowbird pups? We've got our paws crossed that you get that tri-color collie pup in the new year!! Tri collies are the best (says Lanny!!!)

U said u passed Chemistry with Flying Collies....what happened??? BOL ;-) U did remember to put the cranberry in the cranberries, right? ;-) Can't say I've never done that type of thing myself. We here r thankful for a multitude of things, esp for mom/dad and the time we had with them until the good Lord called them home. This yr, dad's birthday was day before Turkey day, next yr it will be on T-day. The new doggie will b à great addition....Slick sure enjoyed Rocky's company when he arrived. They get along like peas and carrots. The snowbird increase is stupendous, but sad to say we will not be a part of the influx avoiding the cold this yr and will stay put in The Great White North with the White Witch of Narnia. Too bad Galinda from Oz can't wave her magic wand and make it all green again...we'd sure like that!!! :-) :-) :-)

Maybe Dog Dad needs you to remind of such things as pumpkin Sherman. It's a never ending task, I know, to make sure he completes all his jobs, but somebody has to do the followup!
