Some wind and some rain is what we remember about Tropical Storm Elsa. There was a huge sigh of relief from our entire pack. We figured we would get a lot more rain, Elsa didn't have near the rain that Sally had last year and the wind wasn't to bad either.

There was some palm fronds to pick up and other things to pick up in the yard. The power went out twice, once about 2 AM than another time around 9 AM. The first was for maybe a half hour, the second for about an hour and a half. Gemini did jumped into bed with Dad around 6 AM. Dad just put his arm around her. She decided to jump out of the bed after about a half hour.

So glad you posted the good news.
Glad all went well with Elsa. Kinda figured not as much rain cuz of what I saw on the radar shot a couple days ago. Kinda surprising, but the storm just didn't have the "upper level dynamics" as they say in the Weather world. But that was good for u as far as flooding goes. Another bullet dodged! ;-)
Glad it wasn't too bad. We worried a bit about you when they kept saying it was going to hit the Keyes. But we know Dog-Dad will do what's best for you guys, you can trust him, he'll keep you safe!
