Construction

Egads , we thought we were going to get our doggy naps yesterday but there was construction going around our house. There was banging and whirring as the bathroom was demolished. We told Dad to do both bathrooms at the same time; and that he could join us outside, but he said no. Silly, Dog Dad.
Before that all started we spotted Dusty and Charlie on their morning walk. No, this is different Charlie. They are both male Shelties and their full names are Dostroyevski and Charles Dickens. If we are walking, Dad will chat with their pawther. Both are a little worried about us, especially Deacon because we are so much bigger.

Charlie (tri-color) and Dusty (blue-merle)

Well hope you have a quiet day, we heard we have more construction going on. Guess we won't be getting are dogie naps. Arggg, what do we have to do.

Oh Oh....construction means dust and dust means sneezing....and noise.....and noise interrupts naps. I guess you will just have to go for lots more walks to escape it all :)

Fortunately we have a back yard. We escape outside to the yard when it is to loud. Right now it isn't to bad and we can rest. Essex is staying pretty close to Dad though.

ah, so much for dog naps. You know I has noticed that the US shelties look quite different to me, I thinks they has longer faces, does you think that too?

Dostroevsky!!! What a great name. Mom has a whole shelf of books by him! (And some are even in Russian.)

We know all about bathroom remodels -- dust and noise everywhere. Why are humans allowed to demolish whole rooms while if we chew on a stupid shoe or sunglasses (or luggage tag), we're in purdah??

Our human brother and sister-in law stopped on their way back from the Keys and apologized for not making a friendly call. Their loss!!

Essex, we'll try to find some bicycyles for you to chase after the wedding -- and cheese. We love cheese too!! And Deacon, don't forget you're coming too!! Get some rest before the big day (ask your dad if he can provide earmuffs like they do for airport runway workers).

Wirey woofs,

Hi Essex and Deacon! Well, I bet the bathroom is going to look beautiful when it's finished! My mom wants to get the tile replaced in our bathroom, but we only have one bathroom so I don't know if it'll ever happen. Charlie and Dusty look like nice friends.

See ya!

They are VERY cute and fluffy! We would LOVE to hear about dogs with blogs... I am a dog. and I blog. I may fit in!

Sprite is part catahoula leopard dog (she has spots in her merle) and a little bit of whippet/hound/mutt and possibly giraffe. Greyhounds don't usually have random offspring from what I have read. Whatever she is - she is PERFECTly strange. 8)
