Guard Chair & Digging

Our house was busy this week -- digging, moving, cleaning, buying. We want to first tell you that Essex's old chair started to fall apart. She looked at Dad with big brown Collie eyes. That was enough to convince him to buy a new chair. A little sweet barking was enough to let him know that she wanted her favorite seat cushion. Essex is back in the saddle, keeping watch what is happening outside sitting on her favorite perch.
Essex on guard on her new chair

The fixer upper guys were jack hammering and digging in the computer room. We have new plumbing underneath the house and the holes are cemented over. You can see the bad shape the pipes were in. The last several days it was clean out the kitchen cabinets because we are getting new ones put in Friday. Starting tomorrow after work they are removing the old one. We’ll do a before and after picture in a couple days.

Dig a hole

Take out the bad pipes

Put in new ones.

We used to have a pawtastic chair like that until dad took it down cause he was afraid Angel would tip it over when scratching a bed in it.

Great chair Essex! Nice work getting Dad to get that taken care of! And, wow! That's a LOT of construction going on! I'm surprised you haven't barked so much you've lost your barkers! When will it all be done?
