Kitchen Cabinets

Deacon "nose" kitchens

Inquiring collies want to tell you this week the work was done on the kitchen. Thursday the guys came by and ripped out our cabinets down. The kitchen looked really barren.

Old cabinets

Torn up kitchen

Friday and Saturday, the cabinets were installed. It would have been late Friday but the one piece was off a paw or so. Saturday morning the last cabinet was installed, finishing work was done, knobs, handles were installed on the doors and drawers.

New cabinets

Dad will be out getting a new dishwasher and stove. Looking forward to the first cheddar collies coming out of the new stove. We wonder if they'll taste just as good? Labor day weekend the granite top will be put on the cabinets, next the tile will be selected for the floor and wall. You have to admit it looks a lot better. After that comes paint, tiles and base boards through out the rest of the house. We will be glad when it is all over.

The new cabinets are BEAUTIFUL! And I can't wait to see the granite and the new floor!

Tell your Dad we are sorry to hear about losing your Grandma in 2008, and essentially your Grandpa too that year. Tough year for Dog Dad.

And we think there is a story in the "nickle" dog Pudgy...if he wants to tell us someday.

Lots of renovation happening around your place. Love the darker colour on the new cabinets. Don't forget to tell us how the cheesy collies turn out.

Hi,

The new kitchen cabinets installed in your kitchen are really great.

Different shades of kitchen cabinets travel in and out of style throughout the years. A popular color might be in for five to ten years and then be out of style for the next decade. A kitchen, much like other rooms in a house has its own feel and attitude. You want your kitchen to be warm and inviting, but at the same time you want it to convey a sense of modern appeal. Much of this attitude adjustment can be accomplished with new kitchen cabinets.
