Remembering

We are keeping Dog Dad company today because he is a wistful. Hoomans tend to remember things and that is what he is doing. Two years ago today Grand Maw crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Dad said that was a double edged sword. Today he remembers all the things she told him, how she liked both of us and how a piece of her and Grand Paw are in him.

Grand Maw when she was a young pup
before she married Grand Paw

We think it is time to go give Dad some Collie licks and let him scratch our behinds. That will make him happy. If doesn't then at least we will be happy. BOL.

Dog Speed,

Essex & Deacon

Your grandma was a very pretty lady! I know you can help make your dad feel a little better. It's just a natural thing for us humans to sometimes miss people we can't visit with anymore. Or hug. Or even talk to on the phone. Give him extra kisses, it won't totally fix it, but it will make it better. Hugs work too, so here's one from Katie and me to your Dad. :)

Hi Essex n Deacon,

Your Grand Maw was beautiful...and what she told Dogdad is beautiful too:) Tell Dogdad that she'll always be there in his heart - guiding him and comforting him. Mothers never really leave their children.

Licks and wags,

Oorvi

So Sad your Grammaw had to leave. But scratches help hoomans though, they must, since they help up so much to feel good!

We know the sorrow of losing one you love. Mothers have a special place in the heart.

Thank you for coming by to leave a kind comment when we lost Crystal.
