Sherman is Two

Celebrating Sherman's Second Barkday
The alarm went off this morning, Dad turned on the light and rolled over to the side of the bed.  I was chilling out laying on my side, when he hugs me from the bed and starts singing Happy Barkday to me.  He tells me that I am already two years old.  Bowsers, time has went fast here with Great Auntie Essex and Dog Dad.
Sherman Looks Up in Surprise as Dad Sings
We went for a nice long walk and I got some extra treats.  Dad told me what a good boy I was and how much he loved me.  Then I gave him some kisses.  Then Dad went off to work, sigh.

When he got back home it was some extra attention.  I look at Dad and blurt out "Let's go to American Dog Outfitters to get some treats."  Sure enough we get in the car and go there.  They welcome Dad by name and he tells them it is my Bark Day.  Some more attention for Mr. Sherman.  Bowsers, I am eating this stuff up.
With Sherman's Barkday Presents
We get back home, then it is the traditional, Scooby Doo Hats, Clifford Balloon, pawtographs and singing Happy Barkday.   Then we got some good size pieces of extra sharp cheddar cheese.  Unfortunately, we are do for more bad weather, so no Angel Paws Dog Park today.  It isn't fair, I'm suppose to be able to go their for my Barkday.  Sigh.

All in all, I have been one lucky collie.

Happy barkday you rascal, Sherman! I told dad you already had your terrible 2's last year and he breathed a sigh of relief. Are you sure you're 2? Miss Essex barked she's been looking for The Fountain of Ruff ever since she turned 6 and you should enjoy 2 while it lasts. Cousin Slick meowed he's 8 months and thinks 2 is a long way off and he can only imagine what it feels like. Enjoy the presents and the extra lovin dad's giving you!

Two already???? You're looking good and you got lots of nice prezzies for your special day. Too bad Dog Dad had to go to work--your birthday should be a national holiday!!! But he made up for it when he got home!!

Happy Birthday Sherman!!!!!!!

Hi Sherman, Happy Barkday!!! Our 13 year old Collie Sparky crossed the bridge recently, but now the kitties and I are awaiting the birth of the next litter of puppies at Holmhaven.
We hope to be bringing home a little guy who looks like you in September. His barkday hasn't come yet. He should be here in the middle of July. Love your blog!
