Memorial Day 2013
We hope every paw is having a great Memorial Day. Dad was busy trimming the umbrella trees this morning. Something about trimming them away from the house for herricane season.
We want to wish the current and future veterans out the best. We appreciate all that you have done and sacrificed for the country.
As for us, this Memorial Day is bitter sweet. Two years ago today our beloved Deacon crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Dad will always miss the "Collie Ambassador." Dad is happy to have the two of us around. Both of us are doing fine and keep him busy.

Can it possibly be 2 years already? It doesn't seem possible Deacon has been gone that long. Know your dad misses Deacon very much, but he loves you guys too!
Awww Deacon...you were such a special dog. I can't believe it is already two years. Good thing Dog Dad has you guys to help him. We hope you had a good Memorial Day.
Wow....2 years. Miss Deac lots cuz he was a special dog. Just no replacing the goober :-) Essex and Sherman are good dogs too, but there was just something about the Deacster. Memorial Day had special significance this year then, for sure.
It will be two years in September for us, and we still miss Lad all the time. So we know how you are feeling. Collies touch our hearts and leave a huge hole when they leave us.
We know how you feel. The hurt never goes away but treasure the time you had. GoD Bless You!
