Gemini's is a happy puppy, who is outgoing yet cautious. She will watch new pups at a distance before engaging them at the dog park. If she is worried at the park, she will scoot up under the bench and watch what is going on. She will romp with her friends, get bounced and come right back for more. She is confident once she has been around another pup. She is not alpha from what Dad can tell. She doesn't growl at the other pups. Gemini doesn't exude the quiet confidence or extreme focus of our angel collie Essex, but very few dogs exhibit those traits..

Gemini is intelligent and bright eyed. We found that out when she woke Dad up to go outside before she was even ten weeks old. She likes people and loves attention. Gemini is a confident spunky collie lass, but that was obvious when she followed Sherman around when she chose us at Holmhaven. She bounces back quickly from rough dogie play and rarely gets upset.

she has a wonderful personality and will continue to develop over the coming years
She is beautiful. I'm glad they like each other. She's a lucky dog.
Sounds like she was the perfect choice for a companion for Sherman. (And you)
Dog behavior, cat too (actually any animal), is similar to humans. We humans can take lessons on how to treat each other from our animal friends. The world would be a better place if we did. How humbling that is. Gem is a beauty, for sure. I think I will like her whenever I actually get to meet her. Slick and Rocky are like yur 2 doggies. They depend on each other, they're pals and luv to play and live in the moment. Each has a distinct personality, but they're similar in some aspects. I'm glad u found a good second pup to keep the first from feeling lonely. I went thru that too. I'm just happy to see the long wait for Gem was worth it and everything worked out perfectly! :-)
They look very happy together. I will say I stopped for a moment because they look like larger versions of my Shelties Bailey and Katy curled up together. I suppose that's why mine are always mistaken for collies. I hope they are just as happy as my two have been together.
