Reilly's Challange

The Collies decided to lift a leg and answer Reilly’s fire hydrant challenge. Typically Dad takes us for walks when it is dark out, but we let him sleep in today just so we could get pictures of our fire hydrants. We have to admit they sure like red. Fortunately, one fire hydrant got into the swing of things. It was a light blue with a picture of a sail boat on the ocean with the sun overhead.

This one matches the color of my leash.
Essex sitting purrty
We like this one with the sail boat and the sun.
Egad, another red one.

Work is almost done with our first bathroom. The tile is going up around the bathtub. The entire bathroom should be done Monday. Deacon loves having the workers around because he gets his ears scratched. Essex is still leery but is much more relaxed.
The bathroom is looking better.

Well, it is time to go. Remember to go lift a leg for your favorite fire hydrants and go visit Reilly the "Cowspot Dog" and show off your favorite hydrants. Ahh, that was a refreshing idea.

Dog Speed,

Essex & Deacon

How pawsome is that.....nice bright red hydrants - that is what mom says she is use to seeing back home, but we really like the sail boat one too - that is a nice way to make them blend in.....but then again - do you want them to blend them when you are in a hurry to find one......thank you for finding the hydrants and for letting your dad sleep in.....sometimes a little sunshine is good too :)

Hello there, collies! I came here by way of Mack, and this is my first time to your blog. I enjoyed the blessing at the top, even if I am not of canine descent.

Those were some very interesting fire hydrants. I don't see that kind of variety around my neighborhood. I think, though, perhaps a painting project is in order!

Wow! You guys have some very picturesque fire hydrants over in in the Keys. We couldn't find any, just some boring electrical boxes.

you got it right......hydrants was what I was looking for but lots of buddies said they didn't have any hydrants around their neighborhoods so then we said anywhere where pee-mail message left would be okay.
