Earth Quake

Yesterday, I asked Dad if he felt the earth move.  Dad looked at me like I was nuts and checked my mouth to see if I was foamy.  Nope, no foam.  He figured he just had a nutty collie.

Later he checked cyber-paw space and sure enough the National Weather Service and the Coast Guard confirmed there was a 5.0 earthquake over 100 miles southeast of Key West at 3:58 PM.

There was no damage in Key West.  I am happy that Dad doesn't think I'm crazy.  Maybe now he will believe me when I tell him I need more treats.

If it was apparently felt all the way to Orlando, I wonder why we didn't feel it either. But glad we didn't.

Maybe you could get a job with the National Earthquake Information Centre or the US Geological Survey, Sherman!! They always say that animals are more sensitive to changes in the Earth's activity--you have provided more proof of that!! Glad there was no damage!

What senses. How scary. Glad to hear you were all OK.

Sherman, have you tested your theory that your Dad will believe you when you say you need treats? I'd be milking that right away if I were you.
