Key West Is In The News
Dad got the newspaper during our morning walk. On the front page was a story about an evil plot in Key West. When Dad told me the man was going to blow something up in Key West, I told him it was going be the fire hydrants. Dad gave me a strange look. I explained doing that would disrupt the entire P-mail system and all the Key West dogs would have problems keeping up with important K-9 messages. Dad just shook his head. What a dumbass! I bet that guy blames his lack of good judgement on the gremlins that Uncle Deacon and Auntie Essex talked about so much :-)
I remember that fire hydrant too! Wasn't there one painted red, white & blue also, kinda 4rh of July looking???
