Lost Wages Luna

We've been meaning to post these pictures of Luna for a couple months.  Luna adopted Dad's sister that lives in Lost Wages, Nevada.  Luna is a great pup and keeps her Mom busy.

In the meantime, it is hard to believe that this is the last day of August.  It sure went fast and the summer has been cooler and lower in humidity than in the past in Key West.

2013 - Sherman - Annual Vet Visit

Saturday Sherman went for his annual physical.  Essex went along for moral support.
Sherman Taking It Easy
Sherman weighed in at 78 lbs. and is doing pawsome.  Sherman did receive his distemper shot.  The worst part of the visit was that our Vet told Dad that Sherman had to take it easy.  No Dog Park Saturday.  Sigh.

We did get to play a lot Sunday and Monday though.

Our Cyber-Paw Pal Lassie Has Crossed The Bridge

Our cyber-paw pal Lassie has crossed the Rainbow Bridge about the 5th or 6th of August.  Dad feels like a heel about because he hadn't checked blogs the last couple weeks.  When we noted her mom hadn't posted for two weeks we were worried.  When he read the post he was really concerned.  When he read the comments on the blog, he was deeply saddened and upset he wasn't there right away.  He is really feeling bad about not reading our cyber-paw pals blog.

Dog Speed Dear Lassie
Lassie's Dog Mom Marquie is a very kind and gentle soul.  We imagine this is especially tough  as she lost her beloved Ella on 5 August last year.  For you that followed Two Collies and a Mutt on one of the other social medias were able to provide Marquie some comfort, bless you.  We are sure what ever kind words you can offer even now will be appreciated.

We hope that our beloved Deacon was there with Ella to welcome Lassie when he crossed the bridge.

Dog Speed dear Lassie.

New Friends

Bowsers, where has the month gone.  We've been meaning to post but we let time slip away.   We've been helping Dad do yard work and he has been busy puttering around the house.  Of course no paw really cares about that.
Nani

Mako
The crowd at Angel Paws Dog Park has changed once again.  We have taken a picture of two of are new chums.  There is Nani a female black lab and Mako.   Mako is a mix, but looks a lot like a dog called a Eurasier.  Until Dad met Mako, he had never heard of an Eurasier.

The weather here has been cooler than usual and we have enjoyed our time this summer at Angel Paws.  As always during this time of year, we closely watch the weather for herricanes.
Essex Chilling Out
Sherman has his annual vet visit this Saturday.  We promise to post the results of his visit.  He has been an active boy, playing all the time at the park.  He would do fence patrol, but Essex gets after him when ever he tries to help.  As for fence patrol, there has not been much activity by the park, so Essex has been taking it easy most days.

Sleeping Dogs

Nothing much is going around here, though Dad got a chuckle several times over our strange sleep poses.

He got up one day and Essex is on her back by the front door with part of a dog leash on her belly.   Another day Dad found us sleeping both at the one side of the bed.
