Essex Update

Well cyber-paw pals, Essex front paw continues to improve. Friday (Alamo Day) was her annual vet visit and she passed with flying colors. Dad was instructed to keep an eye on the paw, but it continues to improve. Unfortunately, Essex didn't get to go to Angel Paws after getting her shots. Next up is Essex's first teeth cleaning on 18 March.

Deacon continues to be happy and be a friend to everyone. Below Deacon is just making sure Dad is awake and happy. We enjoy the shift in time, though we are not sure about Dog Dad. THe time shift means more daylight after Dad gets home.

We're so glad to hear that Essex's paw is better. And you're right, Deacon is a happy dog. Love the smile on his face!

It certainly is taking a while for that paw to finally heal....that must of been some nasty goo. So good to hear you have passed your health check.....and those are great photos

You look very beautiful in that piccure Essex. Very good that you got the full A-ok at the vets.

It must be very hard work for Deacon to keep everyone's spirits up, he looks like he does a very good job.

It was pretty brutal allegedly waking up at 6 am but knowing it was only 5am -- and doing a preventive "pee walk" before it even got light out.

Also, seeing the school bus go by when it's dark made Mom feel sorry for the young kids who have to get up so early too.

We thought of you when we saw the rough collie on Crufts yesterday. She was not as beautiful as either of you though.
