So Far, So Good

Grand-Paws operation went well. The Lord decided he needed to stay a little longer before he crosses the Rainbow Bridge.

According to Auntie Marge (Dog Dad's Sister), the doctor said he has the heart of a person 10 years younger and his bones are strong. She noted he was a grumpy old man again, so things are returning to normal. We don't know how much longer Grand-Paw has, but we hope he is around when we drive North to visit.

Grand Paw, England 1941

Thanks you all for your prayers and crossed paws.

We're glad the surgery went well!!! We hope all the crossed paws of your dog pals helped (along with good thoughts and prayers.)

Just looking at the photos of your grand paw in 1941 made us remember that our grandpaw was in England and then France in WW II as well.

He just wrote his "memoirs" for Mom to type and edit. Perhaps their paths crossed.

Glad things are looking as good as they could be given the circumstances. We think we should all keep our paws crossed longer just to be sure.

I hope you have a good visit when you drive north. Are you guys going with your Dog Dad?

It's good to know that your Grand Paw is better:) The last ten years have been difficult for Mercury's mom, and she says that when a surgery goes well, a fog lifts, and everything lights up.

I am sorry for not keeping up. My paws are tied:-( But thanks for posting the answer. You got it right (so who worked it out - Essex or Deacon)?

Congratulations on winning the award once again:)http://oorvi.wordpress.com/2009/07/26/the-winners-an…ogmania-puzzle/
