2024 in Review

2024 had the collies watching three herricanes closely.  Our pal Chucho moved to a new place and we have some new friends at Angel Paws.  Neither of us enjoyed the fireworks that went off the last two nights.

Wow, u don't really realize how many notable personalities have died until u start listing them! I remember almost all of them. A bit of our world is gone with each one. Some will be sorely missed, others not so much. Lotta good & bad news this year, too. Your hurricane season was pretty mild...mostly rain and a bit of wind, which we also managed to get up here!!! Trump won the Presidential election...he's a shrewd businessman. I hope he can fix the economy & inflation gone so terribly wild. It will be a true test of his ability to lead and make proper decisions. My hat is off to him if he succeeds. Of course, THE BIGGEST THING THIS YEAR FOR ME was something that I've waited for since 1991 (33+ years) when I first found out about it. The TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE that passed directly over the small Ohio town where I'm originally from. It's sad that mom/dad weren't here to see it cuz they would've enjoyed it, but, I did see it, and it was SPECTACULAR!!!! Waaaay better than the one that I went to see in 2017 in Tennessee, and just a hair short of twice the time in the darkness of the moon's shadow. A memory etched in my brain forever.
