There was all kind of loud noises at our house while Dad was away. We sure wish Dad was around.
When Dad come home and let us outside, we started to check out our yard. The we noticed it. Our coconut tree was gone. Bowsers no more coconuts that go thump in the night. No more dodging falling coconuts.

I Could Swear A Coconut Tree Was Here |
It is a good thing as the tree was in a bad place and Dad couldn't trim it any more. Since Dad is happy, we are happy. Though Sherman will miss pulling on the fallen fronds, while Dad was trying to get them into the trash.

Hopefully it doesn't grow back!
You mean to tell me that it's less nuttier than usual over there? BOL ;-)
We can see that it wouldn't be much fun to have coconuts falling on one's head, but having coconuts to eat--yum!! The biggest thing that might fall on our heads here, are apples!!! But we get to eat them then!!

Did you guys chew the coconuts? I had dogs that loved to shred them up to nothing...I used to think it was doggie dental floss
Bowzers! The tree really was close to your house and REALLY tall! Well, I guess you won't have to dodge coconuts anymore, but now what am I supposed to do with the limes I was going to bring down??
Did storm Karen affect you at all?
Talk to you in the morning!
Skye
We hope you gave the coconut tree a proper funeral.
We're glad we were able to quack you up with our video post today. :)
I guess it's good you don't have to worry about coconuts falling from the sky. I think you might miss the tree though. Perhaps you can plant a different kind.
